In a week marked by major milestones — including the opening of its new headquarters in
Parsippany on Monday — Porzio Governmental Affairs announced that it is deepening its footprint in the nonprofit sector through the integration of Association Business Solutions.
The move establishes a new association management practice within PGA and reflects the firm’s broader strategy to expand its service platform and modernize its brand.
ABS co-founders Paula Harrington and Karla Pollack have joined PGA as senior director and
director and will continue to lead the Association Management practice.
The firms emphasized that the transition will be seamless, with no service disruptions and continued high‑touch support for clients. Simply put, clients will continue to work with the same team they do currently, only it now will be backed by additional resources from PGA.
“We are incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the past 22 years,” Harrington said. “Joining Porzio Governmental Affairs allows us to expand our capabilities and bring even greater value to the associations we serve.”
Founded in 2003, ABS brings more than two decades of association management, government relations, and event planning expertise to the firm. Its long‑standing clients will now have access to PGA’s wider advocacy, policy, and governmental affairs capabilities, while PGA expands its reach within the state’s nonprofit and association community.
PGA General Counsel Sal Anderton said the integration aligns with the firm’s refreshed brand and long‑term growth vision.
