Monster Jam® roars into Newark: Tickets now on sale for high-octane summer thrills

The dirt is coming to the city as Monster Jam® prepares to take over the Prudential Center from Aug. 14–16. Featuring 12,000-pound mechanical beasts and world-class athletes, the event promises a weekend of gravity-defying stunts, “big air,” and unscripted motorsports competition for fans of all ages.

The Newark lineup features some of the most iconic trucks in the sport, led by Tyler Menninga in the legendary Grave Digger®. Fans will also see fan-favorites such as:

• Megalodon® (Ashley Sanford)
• Sparkle Smash® (Jamie Sullivan)
• El Toro Loco® (Fernando Martinez)
• Krazy Train and Plane Krazy (Triton and Montana Robbins)

Drivers will compete in three high-stakes disciplines: Racing, 2-Wheel Skills, and the fan-favorite Freestyle, where trucks perform backflips and vertical maneuvers that seem to defy the laws of physics. In a unique interactive twist, fans in the stands serve as judges, scoring the drivers in real-time via their mobile devices.

For those who want to get up close to the 12,000-pound titans, the Monster Jam Pit Party® returns on Saturday and Sunday. This pre-event experience allows families to:

• Take selfies with the massive trucks.
• Meet the drivers for autographs and high-fives.
• See the intricate engineering required to keep these beasts flying.

Additionally, the Trackside Experience—held one hour before the main show—will offer driver interviews, pit crew sneak peeks, and exclusive giveaways to get the crowd “pumped up” for the opening ceremonies.
