Residents of Bayonne and the surrounding region have a new spot to gather, dine, and catch the game. Haven House, a unique “eatertainment” restaurant, is now officially open at the Bay 151 luxury residential community at 151 E. Centre Street.
Developed by KRE, the venue aims to fill a niche in the local market by providing an alternative to traditional bars, offering a versatile space suitable for families, students, and professionals alike.
An immersive dining experience
The centerpiece of the restaurant is a massive, nearly 35-foot-wide LED display—believed to be one of the largest indoor restaurant screens in the region. The screen serves as a high-tech backdrop for major sporting events, presentations, and community gatherings. To mark its grand opening, Haven House has partnered with FIFA to broadcast World Cup games.
“Haven House was designed to create a destination where guests can enjoy exceptional food, specialty beverages, major sporting events, celebrations, and meaningful social experiences in a welcoming environment for all ages,” a member of the Haven House management team said.
A global menu
Haven House emphasizes a “global” dining experience, featuring a menu that spans international cuisines, including Greek, Italian, and Asian specialties, alongside custom fusion dishes and comfort food classics. The beverage program focuses on handcrafted, non-alcoholic drinks, complemented by a full menu of coffees and international desserts.
Community integration
Located within the Bay 151 residential complex, which houses 625 luxury rental units, the restaurant is designed to serve both the building’s residents and the broader Bayonne and Jersey City communities. KRE President Jonathan Kushner expressed enthusiasm for the opening, noting that the restaurant is a “major quality-of-life asset” for the property and the surrounding area.
The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a private dining space available for parties and special events.
