MidAtlantic Engineering Partners on Monday announced the appointment of Timothy Kinsella, CPG, as its new director of Environmental Services. In this senior leadership role, Kinsella will spearhead the expansion of the firm’s environmental practice across New Jersey and the broader Mid-Atlantic region.
Kinsella brings over three decades of environmental consulting, remediation leadership, and executive experience to the Wall Township-based firm. Throughout his career, he has managed complex brownfield redevelopment and site remediation programs across the region, previously serving as Chief Operating Officer for a national strategic management consulting firm.
In his new position, Kinsella will collaborate closely with Environmental Department manager John Kerber to scale the firm’s service offerings in site remediation, brownfield redevelopment, and environmental compliance. He will also leverage MidAtlantic’s integrated multidisciplinary teams—spanning civil, marine, survey, and architecture services—to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
“Tim has spent his career building environmental practices and the client relationships that sustain them,” Kerber said. “Pairing that with the work our team already delivers lets us grow the practice the right way — deliberately, and to the standard our clients expect.”
“Tim’s experience building successful teams and leading complex projects makes him an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” Bill Parkhill, partner at MidAtlantic added. “His expertise positions us to continue expanding our environmental services.”
A Certified Professional Geologist (CPG), Kinsella holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science–Hydrogeology from Susquehanna University and completed post-graduate studies in environmental science and business at Rutgers University.
“MidAtlantic has built a reputation for performing multidisciplinary work well, and the environmental practice has real capacity to grow,” Kinsella said. “I’m looking forward to adding to the already successful practice and connecting it to the rest of the firm’s capabilities.”
MidAtlantic Engineering Partners operates regional offices in Wall Township, Mount Laurel, and Morristown, alongside an office in Media, Pennsylvania.
