Agilis, a provider of digital and AI solutions for the chemical industry, has formed an advisory board with former executives from Dow, Brenntag, BASF, Boston Consulting Group and allnex.
The advisory board’s creation comes as the Newark-based company moves from demonstrating its platform to scaling it. Members will guide Agilis leadership on strategy, product direction, commercial execution and international growth.
“We started Agilis to solve a practical problem: the chemical industry needed digital technology built around its own products, data and commercial processes,” Jay Bhatia, founder and CEO of Agilis, said. “That foundation is now proven at enterprise scale. This Advisory Board will help us apply it more widely — to how chemical companies operate, sell, and serve their customers.”
The members of the Agilis Advisory Board are:
- Dan Futter, former chief commercial officer of Dow.
- Steve Holland, former chief executive officer of Brenntag.
- Gerry Podesta, former senior vice president of BASF.
- Andreas Gocke, former senior partner at Boston Consulting Group and leader of its global chemicals practice.
- Benoit DeBecker, former senior vice president, corporate development, at allnex.
