Kearny Bank has announced the promotion of Neptune resident Yvonne Louro to 1st vice president / CRA officer – Governance & Advisory Manager.
In her elevated role, Louro will oversee the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program, the Compliance Fair Lending analytics program, and various compliance governance activities.
“Yvonne has built an impressive career, consistently expanding her expertise and responsibilities,” Silvia Merino-Topley, Kearny Bank Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer said. “Her leadership of our CRA, Fair Lending, and compliance governance activities is central to ensuring we meet regulatory obligations and remain responsive to our clients.”
Professional background & credentials
- Education: A graduate of Monmouth University, Louro holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
- Certifications: She holds multiple industry credentials, including:
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the American Bankers Association
- Community Reinvestment Act Associate Professional (CRACP) certification from CRA Today
- Fair Lending Expert (FLE) certification from Tuscan Club University
- Community Engagement: Outside of her banking career, Louro is actively involved with several community and nonprofit organizations, including Junior Achievement of New Jersey, Alaris Health, and the All-Stars Project.
