As Atlantic City navigates a landscape where gaming revenues rise even as profits face pressure, industry leaders, economists, and tourism experts are preparing to take a hard look at the region’s economic horizon.
The 7th Annual Jersey Shoreview Fall Tourism and Business Panel Discussion is set for Thursday, Oct. 8, from 9 to 10 a.m. Co-hosted by Stockton University’s Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism (LIGHT) and Visit Atlantic City, the event will take place in the Fannie Lou Hamer Event Room at Stockton Atlantic City (3711 Atlantic Ave.) and will also be broadcast live via Zoom.
Key topics and expert lineup
The panel will explore critical questions facing the shore, including the broader economic impact of resort events, upcoming fall and winter attractions, and long-term regional projections.
The discussion will be moderated by WOND Radio host and MBCA Foundation Co-Executive Director Scott Cronick. Featured panelists include:
- Oliver Cooke, Associate Professor of Economics at Stockton University and Editor of the South Jersey Economic Review
- Michael Chait, Public Information Officer for the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA)

In addition to the panel discussion, Visit Atlantic City President and CEO Gary Musich will deliver remarks addressing the upcoming season.
