Hubspoke Brands, a new franchising platform focused on multi-brand ownership, officially opened its first co-branded Wayback Burgers and Molte Pizze location Aug. 9, at 175 Kinderkamack Rd. in Emerson. The new location marks the New Jersey expansion of Wayback Burgers and the public debut of Molte Pizze, a new fast-casual pizza concept.
The restaurant brings together two complementary menus under one roof. Wayback Burgers offers its popular made-to-order burgers, cheesesteaks, and hand-dipped milkshakes. Molte Pizze introduces three iconic pizza styles: crispy Tavern, foldable New York, and cheesy Detroit, along with fresh salads.
“This represents the future of multi-brand franchising, offering guests the best of both brands under one roof with an exciting variety of fresh, craveable options,” John Eucalitto, CEO of Hubspoke Brands, said.
The Emerson franchise is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Rob Obernauer, who is the first franchisee to launch the Hubspoke multi-brand model. Obernauer, an Emerson native, expressed confidence in the new venture’s ability to succeed by offering great food and service.
The 2,300-square-foot restaurant is designed with a modern interior and comfortable seating, and its opening has created 35 new jobs. It will serve as a go-to dining destination for the community, offering diverse menu choices in a single location.
