Farmmi, a China-based agricultural products supplier, announced on Wednesday that its U.S. subsidiary has signed a lease for a new 183,000-square-foot warehouse in Robbinsville.
This expansion is a key step in strengthening the company’s logistics and distribution capabilities across the East Coast.
The new facility at 3 Montgomery Way will increase Farmmi’s total warehousing footprint in the U.S. to 640,000 square feet. The company expects to take possession of the leased premises by Sept. 1, or upon receiving a certificate of occupancy.
The Robbinsville warehouse is designed to support growing customer demand, improve supply chain efficiency and enhance delivery speed and cost controls. According to the company, this move will seamlessly integrate its East and West Coast warehousing and logistics operations.
“Our continued investment in logistics infrastructure across the U.S. reflects our deep commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers,” Yefang Zhang, Farmmi’s chairwoman and CEO, said. “With the addition of this large-scale facility in Robbinsville, Farmmi USA Inc. will be equipped with even greater responsiveness and service capabilities.”
Farmmi, Inc., founded in 1998, specializes in the processing and marketing of edible fungi, such as shiitake and wood ear mushrooms. In 2024, the company launched warehouse and logistics services in the U.S. to support its global distribution network.
