CentralReach acquires AI.Measures and SpectrumAi to lead outcomes-based care in autism and IDD

CentralReach, a software provider for autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) care with an office in Holmdel, on Monday announced it acquired of two companies, AI.Measures and SpectrumAi. This strategic move is designed to expand CentralReach’s platform to enable and accelerate the adoption of outcomes-based care (OBC) in the autism and IDD fields.

Outcomes-based care is a model that prioritizes measurable clinical progress and quality-of-life improvements over the volume of services delivered. These acquisitions will allow CentralReach to expand its current position as a platform for fee-for-service providers to also support those operating an outcomes-based model.

The new additions bring critical capabilities to CentralReach’s platform. AI.Measures, led by CEO Dr. Thomas Frazier, offers a norm-referenced, multi-modal assessment tool for measuring individualized outcomes. SpectrumAi, led by founder Ling Shao, provides predictive analytics and real-time decision support for clinicians, including video capture and annotation of therapy sessions.

“These acquisitions both support and accelerate the innovative AI strategy we have executed on over the past 18 months,” Chris Sullens, CEO of CentralReach said. “By bringing together AI.Measures’ scientific rigor with SpectrumAi’s established payor-approved outcomes-based contracting model…we’re creating a platform where providers will now have a true choice on which service model they want to use.”

As part of the acquisitions, both Frazier and Shao will join the CentralReach team. Frazier, a nationally recognized clinical leader, will serve as Chief Clinical Officer, while Shao will become SVP, Outcomes-Based Care.

The integration of these technologies into CentralReach’s platform is expected to drive significant value for providers, payors, and, most importantly, the individuals and families they serve. The solutions can be used on a standalone basis as the companies work to fully integrate them into CentralReach’s existing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform.
