Princeton-based Community Options was named the largest nonprofit organization to solely support intellectual and developmental disabilities by the BHB-CFHS 50 Report.
Community Options CEO Robert Stack praised the devotion and success of the group.
“This recognition affirms the strength of our mission and the dedication of our staff, families and advocates nationwide,” Stack said. “For more than 35 years, we have worked to ensure that persons with disabilities have access to housing, employment and community-based care. We are proud to lead with purpose and continue building inclusive communities.”
Community Options was ranked 1st in the exclusively intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) category, 6th in the overall I/DD category, and 8th in the country overall. These accolades come from the organization’s $500 million budget, scope across 12 states and over 35 years of service, according to the report.
