Eduardo Villa, who has been with Ernst & Young for more than two decades, was named the office managing partner of the Iselin location.
In his new role, Villa will oversee more than 1,200 EY professionals. The move became official on Feb. 28.
Villa has long been active in the N.J. business community as he serves on the board of Choose New Jersey and the statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey.
Villa, who has served as the New Jersey Tax Market Leader since 2019, said he is eager to take on the new role. He is succeeding Anthony Sgammato, who will be focusing on driving growth in the market and serving clients.

As the leader of the Indirect Tax Consumer/Health Industry Group, Villa has supported clients ranging from private and public companies, primarily in the life sciences, retail consumer products, automotive, energy, manufacturing and technology sectors.
