Whippany-based Suburban Propane Partners, a nationwide distributor of propane, renewable propane, renewable natural gas, fuel oil, and related products and services, completed its successful sponsorship of the Suburban Propane 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn.
This was a significant milestone for the brand, reinforcing its growing partnership with NASCAR and Speedway Motorsports, according to a release.
The event served as a national platform for Suburban Propane, which is also a marketer of natural gas and electricity and an investor in low–carbon fuel alternatives, to engage millions of fans while elevating its position as a reliable and innovative clean energy provider.
Suburban Propane President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Stivala served as Grand Marshal, while local Customer Service Manager George Bevins had the honor of waving the Green Flag, underscoring the Partnership’s deep connection to its frontline teams.
Suburban Propane played an active role throughout race weekend, from supporting track operations, including track drying during inclement weather, to fueling concessions and campground activities.
The debut of Suburban Propane’s new brand mascot, PhilMor the Bobtail, was also part of the event.
In January, Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. named M. Douglas Dagan as senior vice president – Renewable Energy, a newly created role designed to consolidate the company’s rapidly growing green energy portfolio under a single leader.
