Tribeca-style luxury hits Jersey City: Radio Lofts officially launches leasing

The evolution of the SoHo West neighborhood reached a new milestone on Thursday as RXR, Columbia Property Trust, and their partners announced the launch of leasing at Radio Lofts.

The project, a meticulous adaptive reuse of a 1920s industrial landmark, introduces a “Tribeca-style” living experience to Downtown Jersey City, offering some of the largest and most flexible rental layouts currently available in the market.

Originally constructed for the Continental Can Company and later home to Emerson Radio, the five-story building has been reimagined by Urban Architecture into 140 residences. The design preserves the building’s authentic industrial soul while integrating high-end, condo-level finishes.

“Radio Lofts preserves an authentic piece of Jersey City’s industrial heritage while introducing a collection of larger, more flexible residences,” Whitney Arcaro, Chief Revenue Officer at RXR said.

Key residence features:

  • Soaring Volume: 11.5-foot ceilings paired with exposed brick and oversized windows.
  • Expansive Space: Floorplans ranging from studios to three-bedrooms, many featuring flexible dens for home offices or studios.
  • Premium Finishes: Luxury plank flooring, custom modular closets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

Radio Lofts serves as the second phase of the Hudson House collection, a three-phase development that will ultimately feature 829 residences. While Radio Lofts offers a boutique, intimate feel, residents gain full access to Hudson House’s massive 48,000-square-foot amenity ecosystem.

The Amenity Suite Includes:

  • Fitness & Sports: A state-of-the-art gym, yoga studio, indoor basketball court, and soccer field.
  • Relaxation: Two outdoor pools with cabanas, dry saunas, and a rooftop sky lounge.
  • Convenience: Co-working spaces, private conference rooms, pet spas, and a shuttle service to the Hoboken PATH station.
  • RXO Experience: A dedicated “resident experience offering” that provides hotel-level hospitality and curated programming.

The launch comes at a time of rapid growth for the SoHo West enclave on the Hoboken border. The area has transitioned from an industrial district into a lifestyle destination, anchored by the 1.5-acre Coles Street Park.

“The loft-style residences at Hudson House fill a real gap in Jersey City’s rental landscape,” noted Michael Ritz, Chief Investment Officer at Columbia Property Trust.

Leasing Information:

  • Starting Rents: $2,975 per month.
  • Grand Opening Incentives: Up to two months free for new residents.
  • Occupancy: Available immediately.

The Marketing Directors is serving as the exclusive leasing agent. Prospective residents can tour furnished model homes at 316 15th Street or visit hudsonhouselofts.com for more details.
