We hoped BINJE would find a place in the marketplace.
Today, the answer is clear.
You’ve read and shared. You’ve shown up to our events. And you’ve pushed us to be
better every single day.
Our advertisers and partners have enthusiastically supported a platform built on timely
journalism, meaningful engagement and respect for our readership.
Together, you are why BINJE is what it is today: one of the biggest — and boldest —
sites in the state. One that continues to grow every day.
Lori and I are incredibly grateful.
That gratitude extends to the entire BINJE team, many of whom are featured in this
issue.
Director of Business Development Heather Long and Managing Editor Linda Lindner
were our first hires — and they haven’t stopped working since. Their dedication to the
product has been extraordinary.
Project Manager Chris Lowicki and Social Media Coordinator Erin Young were fantastic
additions this past spring, helping us expand our presence in a number of ways — and
even contributing stories of their own along the way.
And we can’t forget our part-time staffers who deliver a full-time effort: Designer Rob
Russo, Sales Associate Brian Pfeifer and Copy Editor Eric Strauss have all been
instrumental in BINJE’s growth. So, too, have two people we’ve known all their lives:
Benjamin Bergeron, who has made significant contributions to our writing and editing,
and Andy Bergeron, who has helped oversee our business administration needs.
What’s next? Plenty.
A BINJE podcast is on the horizon — along with several other projects we’re not quite
ready to announce.
