Knipper Health announces executive leadership team additions

Lakewood-based Knipper Health announced the appointment of three accomplished leaders to its executive team. Alexis Rose, Champ Burgess and Tony Martin have joined the Lakewood-based organization that serves the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries.

The three bring decades of expertise that will help the company deliver innovative, patient-focused solutions to customers across the health care ecosystem.

Rose becomes part of the Knipper team following her role as US Head of Trade Strategy & Operations at Organon, where she led innovative commercial strategies, optimized distribution practices, and developed partnerships across multiple channels.  Prior to Organon, Rose spent time at Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen), where she managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios and created global strategies to strengthen operational performance. She is also a dedicated leader passionate about fostering professional growth in her teams.

Burgess joins Knipper Health with extensive experience in pharmacy operations, innovation, and health care strategy. Formerly Vice President of Health System Strategy at Shields Health Solutions, Burgess expanded specialty pharmacy services in collaboration with national health systems. His portfolio also includes serving as Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at University Hospitals, where he led system-wide pharmacy operations while advancing innovative solutions through UH Ventures. With a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from East Carolina University, his expertise uniquely positions him to enhance Knipper’s pharmacy programs and service delivery.

Martin brings over 30 years of health care and life sciences experience, spanning pharmaceutical manufacturers, providers, and pharmacy benefit management systems. Most recently, Martin served as a leader within Optum Integrated Pharmacies’ Manufacturer & Industry Relations teams. He previously held high-impact roles at Optum Rx, Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen), and within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, where he developed strategies that significantly boosted revenue growth.
