Our House moves HQ to New Providence

Nonprofit, which provides services and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, takes 26,653 SF on Spring Street

Our House, a leading non-profit that provides services and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities mainly through its day program and employment services, will its headquarters to 41 Spring Street in New Providence, where it recently signed a 26,653-square foot office lease, Kislak Commercial Real Estate announced.
Operating since 1980 and serving communities across multiple counties in New Jersey, Our House assists those of need in many ways.
Through the Day Program, from small-group activities and personalized life-skills coaching to volunteer projects and recreational excursions, each participant follows a tailor-made plan that balances structured learning with social connection.

The Employment Services program is designed to support individuals in securing and thriving in competitive work environments that match their skills, interests and goals through a wide range of employment and internship opportunities — both paid and unpaid — tailored to their abilities and aspirations.

The headquarters at 41 Spring Street is a single-story building with research and development, technology and office space that is leased to a strong base of nationally recognized STEM corporations and other tenants. Amenities include a full-service cafeteria, state-of-the-art fitness center, loading docks, on-site building management, exterior patio and seating areas, a dedicated generator and ample parking.

Matthew LoBocchiaro represented Our House in the deal. Doug Rowe and Geoffrey Schubert of Lee & Associates, represented the landlord, Shelbourne Spring, LLC.

“I am proud to have had the opportunity to work alongside Our House in securing their new headquarters and Day Program space,” LoBocchiaro said. “It was a privilege to be involved in every stage of the project, including site selection, LOI and lease negotiations, space planning and final lease execution. We are excited to see the positive impact that Our House will continue to have on the community.”

New Providence features an affluent residential base, a walkable downtown with restaurants and shops, parks and recreation. Two NJ Transit stations offer service Hoboken with connections to New York City, and there is easy access to Interstates 78 and 287.
