Longtime environmental advocates Valerie and Frank Montecalvo, owners of the Bayshore Family of Companies, will be recognized for their unwavering dedication to land preservation at the Monmouth Conservation Foundation’s (MCF) annual Fall for Conservation event.
The celebration is scheduled for Oct. 10, at the Navesink Country Club in Red Bank, bringing together community leaders to support the protection of Monmouth County’s natural landscapes.
The Montecalvos have made environmental sustainability the cornerstone of both their business and philanthropic endeavors. As the owners of Bayshore Recycling, they operate a 58-acre eco-complex in Keasbey powered entirely by renewable energy. Their innovative facilities keep millions of tons of construction debris and waste out of landfills each year while significantly lowering regional carbon emissions.
Beyond their business impact, the couple has been deeply involved with MCF’s mission. Valerie Montecalvo previously served as an MCF trustee, where she notably championed the successful preservation of the 90-acre Scudder Preserve in Middletown.
The Fall for Conservation event promises an engaging indoor-outdoor evening in support of a vital cause. Proceeds from the night will directly fund MCF’s collaborative efforts to permanently protect open space, farmland, and natural habitats across Monmouth County.
