Bristol Myers Squibb increases annual revenue guidance, cites momentum

Bristol Myers Squibb said it is increasing its full-year revenue guidance for 2026.

The new outlook is for $49.75 billion to $50.25 billion of revenue, up from $49 billion to $50 billion. “This update primarily reflects broad-based and continuing momentum across the portfolio,” the Princeton-based company said.

For the third quarter, revenue increased 7% to $13.1 billion. Net income was $2.2 billion, or $1.05 per share, compared to $2.2 billion, or $1.08 in the year-earlier period. The per-share number includes 58 cents of impact from the execution of recent license agreements and charges associated with ongoing collaborations, according to Bristol Myers.

The company said its Growth Portfolio revenues increased 12% to $7.7 billion, driven by Opdivo Qvantig, Breyanzi, Reblozyl, Camzyos and Opdualag. Its Legacy Portfolio revenues increased 1% to $5.4 billion, driven primarily by Eliquis but tempered by generic impacts across the rest of the Legacy products.

Looking long term, the company said it is guided by three priorities:

  • Focusing research and development on high-impact, transformational medicines to treat life-threatening diseases;
  • Embedding rigorous operational execution across the organization to build momentum in the Growth Portfolio; and
  • Maintaining disciplined capital allocation to drive sustainable cash flow generation, balance sheet strength and long-term shareholder returns.

Bristol Myers Squibb has recently announced several manufacturing expansions, including a a $2.3 billion campus in Houston to accelerate the delivery of next-generation medicines. RayzeBio, Inc., a Bristol Myers Squibb company, is investing more than $173 million to expand radiopharmaceutical manufacturing with a new facility in Whitestown, Indiana.

Recent company milestones includes the approval of Zenbexus for treatment of multiple myeloma. The company said it continues to expect worldwide Eliquis revenues to increase in 2026 when compared to 2025.
