Two iconic institutions deeply rooted in the Garden State are joining forces. The New Jersey Devils and NJM Insurance Group have announced a multi-year partnership naming NJM an Official Partner of both the Devils and the Prudential Center.
The collaboration builds on NJM’s long-standing regional presence and expands its footprint with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), complementing its existing partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers.
A central feature of the new partnership is the debut of “New Jersey, New Jersey,” an exclusive benefit program tailored for Devils Black and Red Members.
Designed to provide tangible value to loyal season ticket holders, the program assists eligible members who need to update their Devils jerseys following a qualifying player trade or number change. Under the initiative:
-
Members receive a $100 credit toward a replacement jersey at the Devils Den Team Store.
-
Redemptions take place during designated windows following roster changes.
“Partnering with the Devils creates a natural connection between two organizations deeply invested in the Garden State,” Carol Voorhees, president and CEO of NJM Insurance Group, said. “Through ‘New Jersey, New Jersey,’ we’ll be there for fans when the unexpected happens, just as we are for our policyholders.”
Beyond the jersey benefit, NJM will become the presenting partner for several interactive digital and matchday experiences, including:
- Post-Win Locker Room Speeches: NJM will present the team’s celebratory behind-the-scenes social media series.
- Co-Branded Content Series: A lighthearted, competition-style video series highlighting player personalities and local pride.
“NJM is a trusted New Jersey institution that shares our commitment to serving this state and its communities,” Owen Morin, Chief Revenue Officer of Partnerships for HBSE, said. “The ‘New Jersey, New Jersey’ program is a creative, fan-first benefit that will provide even more value to our Black and Red Members.”
Founded in New Jersey in 1913, NJM has provided property, casualty, and auto insurance to generations of residents and businesses for over a century. Meanwhile, the New Jersey Devils have proudly carried the state’s name since 1982, capturing three Stanley Cup Championships (1995, 2000, and 2003) as New Jersey’s only major professional hockey franchise.
