Matlen Silver, a premier provider of talent and technology solutions, announced on Monday the promotion of Kirk Ferrier to chief revenue officer (CRO), effective immediately. In his new capacity, Ferrier will serve as the company’s senior-most operating executive, with oversight of enterprise growth strategy, revenue operations, and client engagement.
A decade of growth
Ferrier’s appointment is a significant milestone in his ten-year tenure with the Somerville-based firm. Having started his career with the company as a recruiter, Ferrier quickly rose through the ranks, consistently demonstrating his ability to drive large-scale operational innovation.
During his decade at Matlen Silver, Ferrier has spearheaded the strategy and execution for some of the nation’s largest contingent workforce programs. His leadership has been instrumental in the company achieving top-tier supplier status for several major Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and securing a top-three supplier position with a leading financial services institution.
Leadership for the next chapter
“Kirk has been a huge part of Matlen Silver’s growth story for many years,” Jimmy DeSilver, chairman and founder of Matlen Silver said. “He cares deeply about our people, our clients, and the future of this business. Kirk brings energy, curiosity, and a real passion for building great teams, and I’m confident he’s going to help lead Matlen Silver into an exciting next chapter.”
Ferrier is widely recognized in the staffing industry for his commitment to talent development and his ability to build high-performing teams. In his new role as CRO, he will focus on ensuring strategic alignment across the organization to sustain long-term business growth.
“This organization has always challenged convention, embraced innovation, and empowered its people to grow,” Ferrier said. “Together, we will continue building on our momentum, delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients, creating new opportunities for our people, and shaping the next chapter of Matlen Silver’s growth.”
