The Junction at Gateway expanded its growing culinary lineup on Aug. 17, with the official grand opening of Barn Bird Kitchen.
The new elevated Nigerian fast-food concept was warmly welcomed to downtown Newark by city officials, community leaders, and commercial partners, including Newark Business Administrator Eric Pennington, Newark Alliance Deputy Director for Real Estate and Investments Jerrah Crowder, and Onyx Equities Vice President of Property Management and Operations Kristen Pappas.
Owned and operated by Chuka Morah, Jafrania Onugha, and Chukwuemeka Onugha, Barn Bird Kitchen introduces unique flavors and cultural cuisine to the bustling transportation and commercial hub.
The eatery joins a diverse roster of popular dining and gathering spots at The Junction, including The Final Whistle, Mök Bar, Fresh & Co, The Gyro Project, Uncle Willie’s Wings, Jersey Mike’s, and Dunkin’.
Barn Bird Kitchen is located at The Junction at Gateway and is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
