Larken secures lease with The Center for Therapy and Counseling Services at Montgomery Commons

Larken Associates recently announced it signed a new lease with The Center for Therapy and Counseling Services at Montgomery Commons, located on Applegate Road in Princeton.

The 2,012-square-foot lease marks a new chapter for the counseling practice, which specializes in comprehensive mental health support for individuals, couples, and families. The new office space is expected to expand access to in-person care for clients throughout the Princeton and Central New Jersey region.

Growing demand for community-based care

The Center for Therapy and Counseling Services offers a broad range of support, including psychiatric services, autism support and adult trauma care. With a commitment to flexible scheduling that includes evenings and weekends, the practice utilizes a hybrid model of in-person and virtual sessions.

“As providers increasingly shift care delivery from traditional hospital campuses to community-based offices, we’re seeing demand for premier and easily accessible medical office space continue to grow,” Rob Marek, executive vice president of Larken Associates’ Commercial Division said. “Montgomery Commons is exactly the kind of setting that supports this shift, and The Center for Therapy and Counseling Services is a perfect example of a provider meeting clients where they can feel most comfortable.”

Montgomery Commons: A strategic location

Montgomery Commons is a nine-building complex noted for its classic, colonial Williamsburg-style architecture. The site has become a sought-after location for medical and professional tenants due to its proximity to downtown Princeton and the Princeton Airport.

The complex offers specialized amenities for medical providers, including:

  • Built-to-suit suites with private bathrooms and kitchenettes.
  • “Premier Series” suites featuring recently renovated high-end finishes.
  • Convenient access to regional retail, dining, and banking services.
  • Ample on-site parking for clients and staff.

“We are a trusted, values-driven, and clinically integrated therapy home with real relationships, specialty programs, a community presence, and continuity of care,” Melissa Higgins, LCSW, founder and CEO of The Center for Therapy and Counseling Services, said. “We are very excited to have our new office at Montgomery Commons and continue to provide our patients with personalized care.”
