NAI James E. Hanson associate Ayush Patel earns rare Tri-State real estate licensure

NAI James E. Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announced that Associate Ayush Patel officially earned his real estate salesperson licenses in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

With this milestone, Patel becomes the only associate at the firm currently licensed across all three Tri-State jurisdictions, uniquely positioning him to manage cross-border transactions and advise clients with regional portfolios.

Patel specializes in retail shopping centers, retail pad sites, mixed-use assets, and highest-and-best-use redevelopments. Since joining NAI James E. Hanson in 2024, he has worked closely on a team with Vice President Jonathan Kristofich. He brings advanced technical proficiencies to his roles, including rent roll analysis, CAM reconciliations, closing proration, and an Argus Enterprise Certification from the Altus Group.

“Officially having my New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania licenses allows me to advise my clients wherever their business takes them,” Patel said. “As more owners and investors expand across the region, I wanted to ensure I can work with them on the full scope of their real estate strategy, from stabilized assets to redevelopment opportunities, regardless of geographic location. I am excited to leverage my credentials, skills, and market knowledge to continue helping my clients to reach their respective goals.”

William Hanson, president of NAI James E. Hanson, praised the early career milestone: “We’re proud to see Ayush reach this milestone so early in his career. His drive, determination, and commitment to his clients’ success truly set him apart, and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow and excel in this industry.”

Patel holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate—where he served on the SPS Dean’s Advisory Council—and a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from Rutgers Business School.

Active in top industry organizations, Patel serves on the Young Leaders Group (YLG) Committee for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) New York City and the Sponsorship Committee for ULI Northern New Jersey, in addition to maintaining membership with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
