SJP Properties, a nationally recognized leader in commercial real estate, recently announced that Sanofi at M Station West in Morristown has been awarded WELL v2 Platinum Certification by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This distinction represents the highest level of certification under the WELL Building Standard and highlights a commitment to creating a premier, health-focused environment for the building’s 2,000 employees.
A focus on human well-being
The WELL v2 Platinum designation is granted to projects that demonstrate excellence across 10 core concepts: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community.
At the seven-story, 253,000-square-foot facility, SJP Properties integrated design elements specifically intended to enhance productivity and employee morale. Key features include:
- Advanced Environmental Systems: State-of-the-art air filtration and high-efficiency floor plates for optimized workflow.
- Natural Integration: Extensive use of expansive natural light to connect the workspace with the outdoors.
- Active Sustainability: A tree-lined retail promenade, a central courtyard, and two outdoor plazas, complemented by on-site electric vehicle charging stations and convenient proximity to NJ TRANSIT.
“From the inclusion of sun-filled windows to lush landscaping throughout, every detail was designed with employee health and wellness at the forefront,” Steve Pozycki, founder and CEO of SJP Properties said. “As a premier corporate destination connected to transit and designed to the highest standards of sustainability, M Station West is helping attract leading employers, support local businesses, and strengthen Morristown as one of New Jersey’s most dynamic economic centers.”
Elevating the Morristown economy
M Station West represents the second phase of a significant development project in Morristown. It follows the completion of M Station East, a 120,000-square-foot building that currently serves as the regional hub for 1,500 Deloitte employees.
Together, these developments have created a new model for sustainable, transit-oriented workspaces. The projects have been credited with boosting the local economy by driving retail interest, increasing property values, and facilitating essential infrastructure improvements in the area. By prioritizing the health of the workforce and the environment, SJP Properties continues to position Morristown as a competitive destination for Fortune 500 companies and a thriving hub for the New Jersey business community.
