New Jersey travelers are gaining significant new flight options as Breeze Airways announced a major network expansion on Wednesday, featuring new nonstop and connecting services from both Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) and Atlantic City International Airport (ACY).
The “Seriously Nice™” airline, which was recently named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list for 2026, is positioning itself to be a primary choice for New Jersey commuters looking for affordable, convenient travel to popular destinations in the South and along the East Coast.
Trenton-Mercer Airport is seeing a significant boost in connectivity under the new schedule. Breeze Airways will launch:
-
New Nonstop Service: Starting Sept. 20, travelers can fly nonstop from Trenton to Charleston, S.C. Additionally, new nonstop service to Fort Myers, Fla., is set to begin on January 8.
-
“BreezeThru” Options: The airline is introducing one-stop, no-change-of-plane service from Trenton to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., beginning Sept. 20, providing an efficient alternative for travelers headed to South Florida.
Atlantic City International Airport is also expanding its footprint with the carrier. Starting Oct.2, Breeze will inaugurate new nonstop flights from Atlantic City to Vero Beach, Fla., offering a direct link between the Jersey Shore and Florida’s Treasure Coast.
“We built Breeze to connect communities that the other airlines overlook,” David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways said. “Whether it’s a long weekend getaway or visiting family across the country, our Guests now have more affordable, convenient options than ever.”
Breeze Airways has differentiated itself in the competitive airline industry through a high-value model that combines low-cost fares—with introductory one-way prices starting as low as $49—with modern amenities.
The airline’s fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft provides passengers with a range of modern comforts, including:
- Free Family Seating: Ensuring families can sit together without added fees.
- Connectivity: Fast, high-speed onboard WiFi.
- Flexibility: No change or cancellation fees, a policy that remains a key draw for leisure travelers.
The expansion comes as part of a wider nationwide growth strategy for the airline, which added 11 new routes and three new cities today. Local travelers can begin booking these new New Jersey routes immediately through the Breeze Airways website or the airline’s mobile app.
