The New York Giants have announced a landmark investment in their operational future, detailing plans for a massive expansion and renovation of the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. Aimed at elevating player performance, preparation, and recovery, the ambitious project is slated for completion ahead of the 2028 NFL season.
The comprehensive project will introduce approximately 93,500 square feet of new construction alongside the renovation of another 46,000 square feet at the team’s East Rutherford headquarters. To bring the vision to life, the Giants have partnered with Philadelphia-based architecture firm EwingCole to design the space and Montville Township-based Natoli Construction Corp. to handle the build. Financial terms of the project were not disclosed.
State-of-the-art upgrades for athletes
Designed with a hyper-focus on the modern athlete experience, the redesigned training hub will feature a sweeping array of premier amenities:

Massive Locker Room: Expanding to over 6,000 square feet, the new player locker room will house 100 full-size lockers.

Advanced Weight Room: An expansive 11,000-square-foot weight room will feature an integrated nutrition bar and a cardio mezzanine overlooking the indoor practice field.

Tripled Medical & Rehab Space: The sports medicine footprint will triple in size, introducing cutting-edge recovery and wellness technology such as hydrotherapy, steam rooms, saunas, red light therapy, cryotherapy, dry float tanks, and hyperbaric chambers.
The campus will also feature modernized team meeting spaces and operational areas designed to streamline collaboration and day-to-day workflow for players, coaches, and staff.
Investing in long-term excellence
Following the completion of an upgraded team cafeteria earlier this year, this latest infrastructure push represents a profound commitment by team leadership to keep the historic franchise at the forefront of sports science and performance.
“This is a significant investment in the future of our football operation,” Giants President and CEO John Mara said in a statement. “We believe it is our responsibility to provide our players, coaches, and staff with the resources and environment they need to succeed.”
Giants Treasurer Jonathan Tisch emphasized that every detail of the redesign is intentional, built to honor the organization’s legacy while adapting to the demands of modern professional football.
“Every design decision was made with purpose — from how players move through the building to how a team connects and collaborates,” Tisch said.
While construction is underway, the Quest Diagnostics Training Center will remain fully operational as the permanent hub for both the Giants’ business and football operations.
