The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital has officially announced a significant expansion of its primary care network in Hudson County. The hospital has integrated two established pediatric practices in Hoboken and Jersey City, adding three veteran physicians to its medical staff to meet the growing demand for quality pediatric care in the region.
This expansion follows the recent establishment of The Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center at Hoboken University Hospital, a collaborative effort with Hudson Regional Health designed to bring high-level specialists—including those in neurology, pulmonology, and surgery—directly to local families.
The expansion adds a critical layer of general pediatric services to Saint Peter’s existing specialty presence. The new offices and physicians include:

Hoboken Office (122 Clinton Street): Joining the team are Dr. Andrzej Klos, a 16-year veteran of the Hoboken medical community, and Dr. Vijay Prasad, an experienced pediatrician with a background in emergency medicine and critical care from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Tribeca Pediatrics.

Jersey City Office (138 River Drive South): This location will be led by Piotr Oko, MD, who has practiced in Hudson and Bergen counties for over 25 years and has held several clinical leadership roles at local hospitals.
