Fingerpaint Group bolsters medical communications unit with strategic leadership

Cedar Knolls-based Fingerpaint Group, a leading integrated health care solutions platform, on Tuesday announced a major expansion of its medical leadership team. The group has appointed three industry veterans—Allison Sullivan, Genevieve Cohen and Payal Gandhi—to spearhead a “science-first” approach to pharmaceutical and biotech commercialization.

The move marks a significant strengthening of Fingerpaint Medical, the company’s specialized medical communications business. All three leaders previously served in senior executive roles at Lockwood, bringing a pre-existing history of collaborative success to the Fingerpaint platform.

The strategic expansion focuses on three core pillars of medical communications: operations, client relations, and scientific rigor.

  • Allison Sullivan, EVP, Fingerpaint Medical: Known for operational excellence, Sullivan will focus on driving client growth and scaling the medical group’s capabilities.

  • Genevieve Cohen, CMPP, VP, Client Services: A specialist in complex, high-level strategic accounts, Cohen brings a deep background in building long-term client partnerships and navigating brand challenges.

  • Payal Gandhi, PhD, CMPP, SVP, Scientific Services: Gandhi will oversee the translation of complex clinical data into actionable medical strategies, ensuring scientific rigor remains at the forefront of the group’s work.

The appointments come at a time when the health care landscape is becoming increasingly data-driven and scientifically complex. By uniting these three disciplines, Fingerpaint Group aims to offer a more seamless commercialization platform that guides products through their entire lifecycle.

“Our mission is to produce world-class work where every individual contributes their brilliance to shine brighter as a collective,” Javeria Shahab, president of Fingerpaint Medical said. “By uniting this team, we are defining our own standard of excellence.”

This leadership infusion is a key component of Fingerpaint Group’s broader strategy to lead in the medical communications space. Global President Bill McEllen noted that the expansion of talent directly strengthens the group’s commercialization platform, providing biotech partners with unmatched strategic counsel.

“Joining Fingerpaint Group alongside such talented peers is a defining moment,” Sullivan said. “We are poised to guide clients through every stage of the product lifecycle and beyond.”
