Fairfield-based DLA taps Wall Street veteran Meklinsky as chief revenue officer

DLA, LLC, a leading boutique advisory firm headquartered in Fairfield, has signaled a major push for national expansion with the appointment of Jason Meklinsky as its first chief revenue officer.

Meklinsky, a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry, joins DLA as it is looks to unify its revenue strategy and scale its “go-to-market” execution across all service lines.

Founded by CEO David Landau as an alternative to the “Big Four” accounting firms, DLA has built a reputation for providing high-level expertise without the traditional corporate bureaucracy. From its base at 55 Lane Road in Fairfield, the firm serves a diverse client base—from private equity-backed startups to public corporations—focusing on:

  • Internal Audit & Risk Advisory
  • Accounting Advisory & IPO Readiness
  • Forensic Accounting & Litigation Support
  • IT Advisory & Cybersecurity

“Jason’s deep experience leading revenue growth within complex financial services and advisory environments makes him an exceptional addition to our leadership team,” Landau said. “His ability to build high-performing teams… will play an important role in the next phase of DLA’s expansion.”

Meklinsky arrives at DLA following a successful stint as CRO at Sonata One, a private markets exchange platform. His resume reads like a “who’s who” of financial institutions, with previous leadership roles at Apex Group, Socium Fund Services, and UBS Investment Bank.

His track record includes building sales organizations of 20+ professionals and delivering consistent annual growth in highly regulated environments. At DLA, his mandate is to build a “scalable and collaborative revenue engine” that helps the firm capitalize on its recent momentum, including a minority investment from New York-based Orangewood Partners in 2023.

Under Meklinsky’s leadership, DLA plans to sharpen its focus on Private Equity and Founder-led organizations. By coordinating efforts between practice leaders in Fairfield and the firm’s offices in Waltham, Chicago, and Dallas, Meklinsky aims to enhance client engagement and bridge the gap between complex technical advisory and strategic business development.

A graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, Meklinsky assumes his role immediately, reporting directly to the executive leadership team.
