Avalon Rehab & Healthcare Center has welcomed pulmonologist Fareeha Hafeez and neurologist Scott Weaner.
Hafeez is a triple board-certified pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist with over a decade of experience; she is affiliated with Pulmonary and Sleep Associates of Mercer Bucks. She joins Avalon’s pulmonary unit which aims to reduce pulmonary symptoms, decrease disability, increase participation in physical and social activities, and promote independence and quality of life. The initiative caters to a range of diagnoses and conditions.
Weaner is board certified in neurology with practice of more than 30 years and is affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He joins Avalon’s neuro recovery group which aims to assist those with neurologically disabling conditions to improve abilities and reach their most-optimal functional levels.
Christina Albano formally announced their addition.
“Both physicians are well known for their medical expertise and caring approach. Avalon is pleased to welcome them to its talented team as it continues to align specialty care initiatives with the healthcare needs of area residents and support the center’s hospital partners,” she said.
