Hoboken-based Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) has acquired Rimidi, a chronic disease management and remote monitoring company.
Rimidi specializes in diabetes and cardiometabolic management.
The acquisition complements HRS’ PatientFirst Pathways program introduced last year.
The award-winning program provides comprehensive, longitudinal care, enabling health care organizations to deliver connected, continuous care at home throughout the patient journey in what will now be a single system.
Rimidi’s expertise lies in enabling better chronic disease management through virtual care programs in ambulatory care settings nationwide. Its interoperability supports its commitment to streamlined and scalable clinical workflows.
One example is Rimidi’s demonstration of measurable impact on clinical outcomes, patient engagement, and overall cost of care through its work with one healthcare partner, leading to an average 2.8% reduction in hemoglobin A1c levels and meaningful reductions in hospitalizations among high-risk patients with type 2 diabetes.
The deal also reduces vendor complexity for health care organizations. HRS customers will be able to access Rimidi’s capabilities, including advanced diabetes management with CGM integration, through a single partner, simplifying procurement, training, and support.
