Ridgewood-based outpatient rehabilitation and wellness firm SportsMed Physical Therapy has acquired The Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center.
This increases its store locations in the region to 54 by adding two in Connecticut: Hamden and West Haven. expanding access to patient-centered care throughout New Jersey and Connecticut.
The clinics provide physical therapy, occupational and hand therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and HomeCare services. Each treatment plan focuses on a clinical experience and personalized recovery.
Since partnering with Hildred Capital Management in 2018, SportsMed has grown from seven to 54 locations, building on its mission to improve lives through movement and recovery.
SportsMed is a portfolio company with Hildred Capital Management, a Y Combinator-based investor in lower-middle-market healthcare companies.
Holland and Knight served as legal counsel to SportsMed for this acquisition.
