The Goldstein Group announced Monday the official opening of Ever Home Suites at 1860 Easton Avenue in Somerset. The brand, a subsidiary of Choice Hotels International, enters the market following the successful acquisition and development of a 2.6-acre land parcel.
The transaction, which highlights the continued demand for extended-stay options in Central Jersey, was brokered by Marc Palestina and Chuck Lanyard of The Goldstein Group. The duo represented both the buyer and the seller, Engle Burman at Somerset LLC.
The new hotel is positioned in a high-traffic zone along the Easton Avenue and Interstate 287 corridor, a stretch well-known for its density of hospitality and corporate services. The site is situated immediately adjacent to a QuickCheck Gas and Convenience Store and the Bristal Assisted Living Facility.
“Choice had been targeting the area to add a hotel and this site fit their requirements,” Neil Goldstein, principal of The Goldstein Group said.
Ever Home Suites enters a competitive submarket that serves both business travelers and local visitors. By securing a footprint in Somerset, Choice Hotels joins a diverse lineup of established brands in the immediate vicinity, including:
- Hilton Brands: DoubleTree and Hampton Inn
- Marriott Brands: Courtyard, Springhill Suites, Residence Inn, and Fairfield Inn & Suites
- Other Notable Stays: Comfort Inn and Sonesta Suites
