The strategic merger creates a unified, end-to-end direct-to-patient (DTP) platform designed to revolutionize how patients access and remain on specialty therapies.
By combining CareTria’s robust fulfillment infrastructure with CaryHealth’s proprietary agentic AI, the new entity addresses the “prescription-to-therapy” gap that often plagues the pharmaceutical industry.
The acquisition integrates several critical healthcare workstreams into a single automated workflow:
- Demand Generation & Telehealth: CareTria’s marketing and sample management tools now pair with CaryHealth’s telehealth clinical intake and dispensing capabilities.
- AI-Enabled Onboarding: The platform leverages CareTria’s ability to automate 85% of benefit investigations in under 60 seconds. Combined with CaryHealth’s omnichannel engagement, the companies report a 20% increase in therapy initiation rates.
- Multi-Modal Dispensing: The platform supports commercial pharmacy services, direct-to-patient cash fulfillment, starter doses, and free-goods programs across all 50 states, ensuring patients receive medication even during insurance coverage lapses.
The DTP model is becoming a vital channel for pharmaceutical manufacturers looking to optimize their “gross-to-net” value while ensuring patients start treatment faster.
