Provident Bank, An Iselin-based community-focused financial institution, on Thursday announced the appointment of Annamaria Vitelli to the dual role of executive vice president, chief wealth officer of the bank and president of Beacon Trust, effective immediately.
Vitelli, a veteran wealth management executive with over two decades of private banking and estate law experience, will oversee the strategic direction and growth of Provident’s entire wealth management umbrella. Her responsibilities include driving investment management, expanding trust and fiduciary services, and rolling out innovative financial products.
She will report directly to Anthony Labozzetta, president and chief executive officer of Provident Bank, while joining the bank’s Executive Leadership Team.
“Since joining Beacon Trust last year, Anna has made a significant impact on our organization through her vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes,” Labozzetta said. “As we continue to expand our wealth management capabilities and strengthen our integrated approach to serving customers, Anna is exceptionally well-positioned to lead Beacon Trust and help shape the future of this important business.”
In her elevated role, Vitelli will focus heavily on accelerating cross-company synergy. She will partner directly with executive leaders at both the core bank and Provident Protection Plus—the company’s insurance division—to deliver an integrated sales pipeline and seamless cross-platform client management.
Based in Morristown, Beacon Trust currently oversees approximately $4 billion in assets under administration, focusing primarily on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, individuals, and institutions.
Vitelli’s promotion follows her brief but highly impactful stint as Beacon Trust’s Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer, a position she assumed in September 2025.
Before stepping into the Provident ecosystem, Vitelli compiled a distinguished leadership background managing complex financial operations for affluent families and major institutional clients. Her corporate profile includes:
- PNC Private Bank: Served as Executive Vice President and Head of Hawthorn, PNC’s specialized ultra-high-net-worth business segment, where she managed a cross-functional team of more than 200 wealth professionals.
- Vanguard & The Private Family Office: Held senior leadership positions overseeing wealth strategy, client experience, and complex trust administration.
- Legal Practice: Began her career as a practicing estates and tax attorney.
Vitelli holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, both earned cum laude from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
“I am honored to assume this role and grateful for the confidence Tony and the Board have placed in me,” Vitelli stated. “I look forward to working with our talented teams across Provident Bank and Provident Protection Plus to build upon our momentum, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate growth across our wealth management business.”
