Morey’s Piers announced it will host its inaugural Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Friends & Family Day on Aug. 29. This special fundraising event invites families and supporters to enjoy a day of entertainment while contributing to the world-class pediatric care, research, and family-centered programs provided by CHOP.
The event, held at Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks, aims to bring the community together to support children and families navigating significant health challenges. A portion of every ticket sold will be donated directly to CHOP to help fund critical medical research and innovative treatments.

Event details
Tickets for the fundraiser provide attendees with a comprehensive experience, including:
- Admission to all Morey’s amusement rides.
- Access to the beachfront water parks.
- A catered luncheon.
- The opportunity to support one of the nation’s premier pediatric healthcare institutions.
While many participants may have a personal connection to the hospital, organizers emphasize that the event is open to the public. Whether attendees have been touched by CHOP’s mission or simply wish to support pediatric health, the day offers a unique way to make a tangible impact while enjoying the Wildwood shore.
“CHOP’s impact extends far beyond the walls of our hospitals,” Kevin McMahon, senior director of Community Fundraising and Cause Marketing at CHOP, said. “The support generated through community events help advance research, improve patient care, and provide hope to children and families when they need it most. We’re grateful to Morey’s Piers and everyone who will join us in making a difference.”
