Marcus & Millichap announced the $2,250,000 all-cash sale of Young Plaza, a fully occupied retail center located in Ocean County.
Situated at 420 N. Main St., the 8,136-square-foot retail property sits on a 1.77-acre lot with ample on-site parking. Built in 2012, Young Plaza is fully leased with a diversified tenant roster featuring local favorites and service providers, including Yellow Dog Coffee Roasters, Black Sheep Studios, Luxury Looks Beauty & Esthetics, a massage parlor, and Isla’s Mexican Restaurant.
The property benefits from high visibility and a strategic location positioned directly across the street from a Wawa, near Southern Regional Middle School, and just minutes away from U.S. Route 9, State Route 72, and the Garden State Parkway. Stafford Township serves as the primary gateway to Long Beach Island, with Route 72 providing the sole roadway access across Manahawkin Bay.
Seth Goldberg, Alan Cafiero, and Brent Hyldahl of Marcus & Millichap exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor from Delaware. The brokerage team also successfully procured the buyer, a private investor from New Jersey utilizing a 1031 exchange.
“Young Plaza is a well-located, fully occupied retail center with a strong mix of local tenants and excellent visibility in one of Ocean County’s most active coastal markets,” Seth Goldberg, associate director of investments in Marcus & Millichap’s New Jersey office said. “We were pleased to successfully complete an all-cash transaction with a 1031 exchange buyer and deliver a strong result for both clients.”
