Rider University on Tuesday announced a new partnership with higher education technology firm CollegeVine to integrate artificial intelligence tools aimed at transforming student recruitment and campus support services.
Beginning this fall, Rider will implement CollegeVine’s AI Recruiter and AI One Stop platforms. The deployment is designed to streamline administrative navigation, enhance personalized outreach for prospective students, and provide around-the-clock assistance for current families.
Key highlights:
- Personalized Early Recruitment: Traditionally, admissions teams face limitations when engaging thousands of prospective students simultaneously. AI Recruiter enables customized, timely outreach tailored to individual interests and the specific stage of a student’s college search.
- 24/7 Student and Family Support: AI One Stop will assist current students by offering immediate answers, deadline reminders, and guidance on campus services around the clock.
- Multilingual Capabilities and Proactive Outreach: The platform supports communication in more than 50 languages and can proactively check in on students with reminders and next steps, helping connect them to additional resources when needed.
Emphasizing Rider’s position as an early adopter in higher education tech integration, University President John Loyack, noted: “Students and families deserve personalized support and easy access to the information they need… While we all teach technologies like the use of AI tools, higher education is generally slow to adopt new technologies like AI into our business practices. We see great opportunity in being an early adopter.”
Mary-Alice Ozechoski, senior vice president and chief of staff, highlighted how the new tools will alleviate administrative friction for families navigating college admissions.
“There are so many details students and their families have to keep track of throughout the admissions and enrollment process,” she said. “These tools give us another way to keep students informed, guide them through the process and even check in on their well-being so we can connect them with additional support when they need it.”
The university expects to officially launch the new AI suite this fall, creating greater operational capacity for staff to focus on high-touch, personal engagement.
