Commercial real estate brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap announced the successful sale of Aberdeen Woods Townhomes, an 11-unit multifamily residential property located in Matawan.
The transaction highlights ongoing investor demand for rental properties situated near major transportation networks and economic hubs in Central New Jersey.
The transaction was handled exclusively by Chez Eider, senior director inestments at Marcus & Millichap, who represented the seller, Aberdeen Woods Holdings, and procured the private investor buyer.
Eider noted that the property’s unique physical layout and streamlined sales process contributed to strong buyer competition:
“Monmouth and Middlesex counties continue to attract strong investor interest, particularly for well-located multifamily properties with convenient access to major employment centers,” Eider said. “Aberdeen Woods offered a relatively scarce townhome-style rental product, attracting competitive interest from buyers focused on the property’s long-term fundamentals. With due diligence completed prior to contract execution, the transaction moved efficiently from accepted offer to purchase agreement, providing the seller with greater certainty of closing.”
