The Connell Company celebrated a major milestone in residential expansion at The Park in Berkeley Heights, an 185-acre campus of luxury apartments, shopping, dining, wellness and entertainment.
The company hosted a topping-out ceremony for RT600, an eight-story tower that will have 149 apartment units and open in fall 2027. It is the second of two residential towers; RT500 opened over the summer. The towers feature resort-style amenities including an outdoor pool, entertainment lounge and game room.
“The topping out of RT600 marks an exciting milestone in the continued evolution of The Park and our vision to create a vibrant, connected community where people can live, work and connect,” said Shane Connell, executive vice president of The Connell Company.
The Park, formerly known as Connell Corporate Park, is undergoing a $500 million redevelopment to become a “destination neighborhood.” New restaurants, entertainment and lifestyle spaces are beginning to open.
The campus has a 176-room Embassy Suites Hotel, 112,000-square-foot Life Time Fitness center and over 1.5 million square feet of flexible work offices. Its main street includes Boschetto, Four Spoons Ice Cream Company, Doner Shack, Cafe Exchange, Dogtopia, Prime IV Hydration & Wellness and Emberside Brewery.
