Pilates Addiction opens at Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater

Pilates Addiction, a rapidly expanding boutique fitness franchise, has signed a lease to open a new studio at the Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater.

The deal further enhances the health, wellness, and retail tenant mix at the 219,000-square-foot open-air community center, where Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent.

Located directly on Route 202/206 near the Somerville Circle, Somerset Shopping Center serves an affluent regional trade area of approximately 126,000 residents within a five-mile radius, where average household incomes exceed $178,000.

Pilates Addiction offers a high-energy, results-driven approach to Pilates using its proprietary gold-plated Aurum™ reformer equipment. Known for its small-group, instructor-led classes, the brand reached a major growth milestone in October after surpassing 350 franchise licenses sold. The boutique fitness chain currently operates more than 40 studios across 12 states, with another 75 locations in active development.

The new Bridgewater studio will cater to participants of all fitness levels, prioritizing personalized instruction, strength, core stability, and mobility.

“We are excited to bring Pilates Addiction to Bridgewater and become part of this wonderful community,” Mika Patel, owner of Pilates Addiction Bridgewater said. “Our vision is to create more than just a place to work out. We want to build a welcoming environment where people of all fitness levels feel supported, build meaningful connections and discover how Pilates can help them become stronger, healthier and more confident. Somerset Shopping Center is a great location for us to bring that vision to life.”

LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Kelty represented the landlord in the lease transaction, while Florian Suserman and Samantha Zawadski of RIPCO Real Estate represented Pilates Addiction.

“Pilates Addiction is a great addition to Somerset Shopping Center and reflects the continued demand for fitness and wellness concepts in well-located retail properties,” Vanessa Kelty said. “With Sprouts Farmers Market under construction, D1 Training now open and several other recent additions, we’re building a strong mix of retailers and service providers that gives consumers more reasons to visit the center.”

The signing comes amid significant leasing momentum at Somerset Shopping Center. Construction is currently underway on a 28,750-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market, which will serve as a new grocery anchor for the property.

Pilates Addiction joins a growing roster of fitness, lifestyle, and national retail tenants at the center, including D1 Training, Boot Barn, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Strand Salon Studios, Style Brow Bar, Barnes & Noble, Gap Factory, Fortunoff Backyard Store, and Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa.

LMC is currently marketing additional leasing opportunities at the property, including storefront spaces of 8,000 square feet, 22,183 square feet, and 16,947 square feet on the lower level with dedicated rear parking.
