When we launched BINJE on May 5, the goal was simple: Be everywhere, write everything.
It feels like we’re taking that to heart.
Last week, when we reported that Onyx Equities would become the first local sponsor for the 2026 World Cup, it was the 1,000th content item we posted at BINJE.com.
Not bad — considering it came at the start of just our 11th Monday-Friday week. And since there were three federal holidays since we launched, the post came at the start of just our 50th day of publishing.
It was quite the milestone moment.
Two people deserve a big tip of the hat for this incredible achievement.
The first is Managing Editor Linda Lindner, who not only posted every single one of the 1,000 content items — she wrote the majority of them. And she built all those email blasts you receive.
The second hat tip goes to you, the reader.
You are the reason we do what we do — and the reason why our numbers keep going up.
Keep liking our content on social media.
Keep encouraging your friends and colleagues to sign up for our email blasts – after all, they’re free. (You can sign up here).
And if you still love print – know that we still do, too. Sign up here to receive our print editions, which we actually print and mail out.
One thousand content items in just 50 days. And to think, we’re confident the best is yet to come.
Thanks again for your continued support of BINJE.
