St. Georges Crossing, a prominent 343,000-square-foot shopping center in Woodbridge, announced that Activate Games, a popular interactive gaming concept, will be opening a new 14,650-square-foot location.
The new lease, which follows the recent opening of Burlington, brings the shopping center to 100% occupancy.
Levin Management Corporation (LMC), which serves as the leasing and managing agent for the ShopRite-anchored property, secured the new lease. E.J. Moawad, senior leasing Rrepresentative for LMC, highlighted the significance of the new tenant, noting that it will enhance the overall experience at the shopping center.
“Activate Games is an exciting, cutting-edge entertainment concept that enhances the experience at St. Georges Crossing,” Moawad said. “It’s a great complement to the center’s retail and dining lineup and further supports our strategy of creating a well-rounded, high-traffic destination.”
Activate Games has a growing presence across North America with more than 30 locations. The concept offers a unique blend of physical activity and interactive technology, where players work together in immersive, tech-driven rooms to complete real-life challenges. The games are designed to test both physical and mental agility, making it a suitable destination for a wide range of groups, from families and friends to corporate teams.
Located at the busy intersection of Route 1 & 9 and Route 35, St. Georges Crossing has become a true one-stop destination for local consumers. The center is anchored by major retailers including ShopRite, T.J. Maxx, and the newly opened Burlington. According to real-time traffic data from Placer.ai, the shopping center draws approximately 4.3 million visitors annually.
The addition of Activate Games diversifies the center’s offerings, which already include a strong mix of national brands such as Ulta Beauty, PetSmart, KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and various dining options like Popeyes and Jersey Mike’s.
Matthew Harding, chief executive officer of LMC, praised the center’s evolution.
“The transformation of St. Georges Crossing has been outstanding,” he said. “With strong anchors like ShopRite, T.J. Maxx and Burlington, complemented by a vibrant mix of retailers and experiential brands, the center is well positioned for continued long-term success.”
