World Insurance Associates LLC (World), an Iselin-based national insurance brokerage, announced Thursday the appointment of Mike Viner as the new leader of its Surety Practice.
In his new role, Viner is tasked with driving strategic growth, expanding World’s market presence, and strengthening relationships with carrier partners to provide specialized bonding solutions for the firm’s diverse client base.
Viner’s appointment comes as World Insurance continues its rapid ascent in the U.S. and U.K. financial services markets. By bringing in a leader with deep expertise in complex surety program design, World aims to provide its advisors with more sophisticated tools to handle the bonding needs of commercial clients.

Viner is a seasoned industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience spanning underwriting, business development, and relationship management for both domestic and international accounts.
His professional background includes:
- Cross Surety: Served as Senior Vice President, where he was instrumental in building the firm’s surety operations and overall strategy.
- Willis & Hilb Rogal & Hobbs: Held senior leadership roles at these global brokerage firms.
