Capriotti’s expands South Jersey presence with new Marlton location

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, a national chain celebrated for its slow-roasted turkey subs and handcrafted cheesesteaks, is set to open its newest location in Marlton on Aug. 26. Located at 1041 NJ-73, the new shop is the second venture in New Jersey for franchise owners and husband-and-wife duo Jimit Dharia and Urvi Jatania. They also own and operate the Capriotti’s location in Princeton.

The couple, who originally hail from India and now reside in Central Jersey, discovered the brand while searching for a quick-service restaurant concept to invest in. Impressed by the quality of the food, they decided to become franchisees and have ambitious plans to open eight more locations across the state.

Jimit Dharia expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to continue growing Capriotti’s in New Jersey and bring our passion for premium, handcrafted sandwiches to the Marlton community.” He believes the shop’s “bold flavors and exceptional service” will resonate with South Jersey residents.

Capriotti’s is known for its signature sandwiches, including “The Bobbie,” which features slow-roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo, and the “Capastrami,” a hot pastrami sub with melted Swiss cheese and house-made coleslaw. The Marlton location will also offer a variety of cheesesteaks, vegetarian options, and catering services for events.
