Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey (CSPNJ) has been awarded the Silver Stevie® Award for Organization of the Year in the nonprofit or Government Organization (Large) category at the 2025 International Business Awards®. This achievement is particularly notable as CSPNJ was the sole winner representing a U.S. organization in its category.
The award comes just a month after the behavioral health agency celebrated its 40th anniversary, recognizing its innovative, peer-led model.
Judges praised CSPNJ’s work, citing its rapid growth and community impact, particularly in its homeless outreach and crisis services. A core reason for the award was the organization’s peer-led model, which prioritizes hiring people with “lived experience” in the behavioral health, recovery, and disability communities. This approach creates a welcoming environment where individuals feel respected and accepted, providing “rare authenticity and support,” as one judge noted.
Individual recognition
In addition to the organizational award, Chelsea Triano, CSPNJ’s Marketing Coordinator, also received a Silver Stevie® Award for Communications Professional of the Year. A judge remarked on her “innovative and creative efforts,” highlighting her use of personal storytelling and community-driven design to enhance the accessibility of CSPNJ’s services. Triano was the only winner from a New Jersey organization in her category.
