The Habit Burger Grill, the California-based fast-casual chain renowned for its award-winning Charburgers, is celebrating the launch of its newest New Jersey restaurant in Clifton. Located at 388 Route 3 West, the new eatery will officially open its doors to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
The new Clifton location is set to become one of over a dozen Habit Burger restaurants operating across the Garden State, cementing New Jersey’s status as a key growth market for the brand.
Three Days of Free Food and Community Support
To mark the grand opening, Habit will host three days of exclusive, pre-opening VIP events for its CharClub and mobile app members, offering fans a free taste of their famous flame-grilled menu:

Chef Jason Triail, director of Culinary Innovation at Habit Burger, expressed excitement for the newest location.

On Dec. 17, the first 100 guests will receive a Habit tote bag filled with swag and a Flavor Passport—a booklet offering fans free items from the menu, including a Double Char, Chicken Club, and Santa Barbara Cobb.
The new restaurant, which will be open daily from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM, will offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery via the Habit Mobile App and major delivery platforms like Grubhub and DoorDash. The California-born chain is famous for its cooked-to-order mantra and open flame grilling, which sears a distinctive smoky flavor into its signature Charburgers.
