The Salvation Army New Jersey Division has expanded its State Advisory Board with the appointment of five prominent leaders from the corporate, academic, and public sectors. The new members join at a critical time as the organization seeks to deepen its community impact and enhance its advocacy efforts across the Garden State.
The incoming board members bring a diverse array of expertise in finance, public affairs, and institutional leadership:
- Ricardo Belo, Partner/Principal, Consulting Services, Ernst & Young LLP
- Olivia Glenn, Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Chancellor, Rutgers University-Camden
- Dan Keashen, Director of Public Affairs, Camden County Board of Commissioners
- Jason Mancivalano, Executive Director, J.P. Morgan Private Bank
- Brendan Zanetti, Vice President, Public Affairs Market Manager, Citizens
The State Advisory Board is instrumental in providing the strategic guidance and leadership necessary to sustain The Salvation Army’s wide-reaching social service network. In New Jersey, the organization’s footprint includes essential programs such as food assistance, emergency shelter, youth initiatives, and disaster response.
“We are pleased to welcome these individuals to the State Advisory Board,” Bill Cleave, chair of the New Jersey State Advisory Board said. “They represent a range of industries and perspectives, and that kind of insight is invaluable as we continue to connect more people to what we do.”
The appointment of these leaders reflects the organization’s focus on building stronger relationships with both the public and private sectors. By leveraging the professional networks and regional insights of the new board members, The Salvation Army aims to increase awareness of its mission and secure the resources necessary to serve vulnerable families.
“Their involvement helps ensure we can continue responding to what we see each day, while also helping to build relationships and increase awareness of our work,” Major Brett DeMichael, divisional commander of The Salvation Army New Jersey Division said.
The Salvation Army emphasizes that all donations remain within the specific communities where they are given, ensuring that local support directly impacts neighbors in need.
