Inspira Medical Centers recently had three facilities earn national recognition from the American Heart Association for excellence in cardiac care, the company announced last week.
Mullica Hill, Vineland and Elmer all received the recognition. The Association’s recognitions are awarded only to hospitals that consistently meet the highest national standards for evidence-based heart care to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Inspira Health Chief Nursing Officer Terri Veneziano explained the significance.
“Our Mullica Hill, Vineland and Elmer teams transform heart care guidelines into real lifelines for patients, knowing that every moment counts, especially for those at higher risk due to conditions like type 2 diabetes,” she said. “I am immensely proud and grateful to work alongside the medical professionals recognized with these prestigious awards from the American Heart Association.”
The awards included:
- Mullica Hill and Vineland: Target: Aortic Stenosis™ Honor Roll
- Earned for providing timely treatment and accurate diagnosis for aortic stenosis, a life-threatening heart valve condition.
- Vineland: Get With The Guidelines® – Heart Failure Bronze
- Recognized for consistently meeting American Heart Association heart failure care guidelines over 90 consecutive days.
- Mullica Hill: Get With The Guidelines® – Heart Failure Bronze with Target: Heart Failure Optimal
